Pre-Launch Preparation: Successful implementation of TTM begins here!
Understanding how TTM works, how to set up your classes for success and monitor their progress throughout the year,
and planning for a engaging launch event will get students motivated to use TTM and insure that they know
how to use the program effectively.
Task List Before Student Launch

4. Determine Expectations for Quality and Quantity of Work:
Monitoring Quantity of Work:
- Consistency is key! For students to progress, using TTM 2-3 a week for 30–45 minutes a session. Lessons take about 30-45 minutes to finish, so students should be able to get through 2–3 lessons a week.
- Students may not have enough time to do that in class, but they can access TTM from any connected computer or device. Suggest to students & comminicate with families about using TTM at a friend’s house or public library. [ See Maximizing Usage]
- We want students to pass lessons, but they’ll fail some too. TTM will dig in and fill learning gaps at these points. Over course of year students should try to Think 30! That’s TTM's catchy way of saying to work to pass at least 30 lessons over the course of school year. More is even better, but 30 lessons passed should be the target. Students should also use a math journal.
